Habilitation Specialist

HarvestWorks, Inc. has over 45 staff trained to provide quality Habilitation Specialist services to the individuals they serve. Each Habilitation Specialist is trained in Thera Ed, CPR, First Aid, Client Rights, NCI, Person Centered Planning, Developmental Disabilities, Interaction and Communication Competencies, Philosophy of Services, Incident Reporting, and Abuse & Neglect. Additionally random criminal background checks, drug screens, and monthly driver's license checks are conducted. Every staff receives supervision by a Qualified Developmental Disability Professional.

Program Coordinators

The Program Coordinators are "Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professionals" (QDDP), also referred to as a “Q”. They are responsible for managing authorized services provided to the people we serve. They ensure that each individual we serve is receiving the best service to meet their needs. The Q does this by being a part of each individuals treatment team and by supervising the Habilitation Specialist providing the service. Each Q is highly-trained and has many years of both direct care and supervisory experience.

Any changes to schedules, arrangements for respite, questions about services or other concerns should be coordinated through our Q staff. Each individual has a primary Q, however, anyone of our Q staff may be available to help. You have several options to contact our Q staff -- via phone, email, or by stopping by the facility during office hours, 8:00am to 5:30pm. After hours, you may leave a confidential message in a Q’s voicemail. To use the voicemail, call the main HarvestWorks telephone number 704.487.7777 and dial the Q’s extension listed above. If you need immediate assistance, then call our 24-hour ON-CALL cell phone 704.477.8290.
