Ultimately, the people we serve is why we're here! They are both children and adults with special needs. They may be living with a developmental disability but nonetheless possess the desire to be creative, social, and an active, contributing citizen in our community. They bring many joys to those around them, many gifts, talents, and surprises everyday. These are the people we ultimately serve and they are ultimately the reason why we are here.

 

At HarvestWorks, Inc. we serve over 50 unique individuals every day. Each individual has goals that we work with them on achieving. Their goals are exercised during community outings and during activities that involve the public coming to HarvestWorks, in HarvestWorks agricultural environment, the restaurant and the country store, doing arts & crafts, our homework room, the playground, and in many other ways.

 

Just like you and me, each participant has a need to be included in our community. This is why we work to bring the community to them through our petting zoo, fresh produce, restaurant, country store, playground, and walking trails. Stop in anytime during our hours of operation to say hello, shop around, see the animals, and have lunch!
