Plants
Greenhouses

Greenhouses
Children will learn about organic plants, our greenhouses, and gardens. This year we've produced organic eggplant, green beans, potatoes, pumpkins, watermelons, cantaloupe, broccoli, radishes, turnips, beats, seven different delicious varieties of lettuce, and various tomatoes.
Animals
Donkey Donkey
Donkey Donkey is his name, and yes, he's a donkey. But, he's not just any ole donkey, he's a miniature donkey who likes to hang with his best friend, El Toro the miniature Zebu bull. He especially likes to have his neck scratched and loves to meet new people.
Thorn
Thorn is our miniature ram, gentle but nothing to mess with! He oversees his herd of two ewes, Dandelion & Amber.
Amber
Amber is a miniature sheep (Ewe). She likes to hang out with her best friend Dandelion and her boyfriend Thorn. She is content eating grass and checking out curious things in the barn lot. She, like all sheep, does not like loud noises!
Sugar
Sugar and her kid Dots are our most impressive ambassadors. Sugar is a miniature goat. The minute she sees someone coming to the fence she has to investigate and everyone else follows. She loves to be scratched, talked to, and be fed by hand. She loves kids.
El Toro
El Toro loves to be bottle fed and his favorite thing to do is hang with his buddy Donkey Donkey. El Toro is a miniature Zebu bull and when mature will only be 30 to 32 inches tall.
Isabella

Isabella Isabella is a miniature Zebu calf. When fully grown she should be less than 30 inches tall. She likes to hang with her boyfriend El Toro. Hopefully in about 2 years the two of them will produce more Zebus.
Dandelion
Dandelion is a miniature sheep (ewe). Likes to hang out with her friend Amber and her boyfriend Thorn. Like most of our critters, she's very tame and loves to be fed by children.
Dots
Dots and his mom Sugar are our best ambassadors. He really likes people, especially kids, since he is one too! He likes to run and play but enjoys having people around.
Wilbur
Wilbur is a miniature pot belly big who likes to eat! So, we have to control the amount of food he gets. Wilbur likes to root in the dirt and will eat nearly anything. When he wags his tail you'll know he's happy. Wilbur loves being talked to and kids. He likes to walk around on his leash and meet new people.
Charlotte
Charlotte! Charlotte is also a miniature pot belly pig. She, like Wilbur, likes to eat but she is much smaller than Wilbur. She enjoys visits to events like "Alive after five" and especially likes to go shopping at Lowes and Pet Smart. She just loves being anywhere she can meet kids.
Fuzzy

Fuzzy the Alpaca
Fuzzy is a one year old red & white Alpaca.Fuzzy is very curious and a new addition to HarvestWorks so he may be a bit shy.
Q-Tip

Q-Tip Alpaca
Q-Tip is a 9 year old gelding Alpaca. He is solid white and like Fuzzy is curious about new things. Like Fuzzy Q-Tip's only defense mechanism is spitting when he's frightened.
